An established automotive services organisation is seeking experienced Automotive Glaziers to join its growing operations across Melbourne.
n
There are currently two opportunities available in Melbourne and one in Sydney for experienced technicians who can work independently, deliver high-quality workmanship and provide professional service to customers.
The Role n
The Automotive Glazier will be responsible for the professional removal, installation and repair of automotive glass across a variety of vehicles.
n
n
Windscreen removal, replacement and repair
n
Installation and replacement of side and rear vehicle glass
n
Managing allocated jobs from commencement through to completion
n
Ensuring the correct tools, glass and materials are available for each job
n
Identifying and resolving fitting or service issues
n
Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and vehicle care
n
Completing job documentation accurately and on time
n
Communicating professionally with customers and internal teams
n
Working both autonomously and as part of a wider technical team
n
Assisting other technicians where required
n
Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment to a high standard
n
n
The organisation operates to strong productivity and quality standards, with technicians expected to deliver efficient service while maintaining very low warranty and rework levels.
The Successful Candidate n




Applicants should have solid hands-on experience within the automotive glazing industry and be confident completing vehicle glass replacement and repair work without constant supervision.

Previous experience as an Automotive Glazier / Windscreen Fitter
n
Robust automotive glass fitting and removal skills
n
Experience across a broad range of vehicle makes and models
n
Good practical problem-solving ability
n
Strong time-management skills
n
Good customer service and communication skills
n
A professional and reliable approach
n
Current driver's licence, preferably with the ability to drive manual vehicles
n
Certificate III in Automotive Glazing
or equivalent is preferred, but substantial industry experience will also be considered
n

Salary ranges n
80K to 100K + super + vehicle
