About the Role n
Senior General Surgeon opportunity at Central Queensland's major referral hospital, delivering acute/elective adult & paediatric surgery,
inpatient/outpatient
care, operating, endoscopy,
outreach/telehealth
and on-call services. International candidates can be considered.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Deliver high-quality general surgical care incl. operating & endoscopy
n
Support multi-site, outreach & telehealth services
n
Participate in on-call roster
n
Supervise trainees, junior doctors & students
n
Lead audit, research, safety & service improvement
n
MBBS/equivalent + eligible for General Surgery specialist registration with AHPRA, generally FRACS
n
Commitment to upper GI endoscopy & CME
n
Strong clinical leadership, communication & multidisciplinary skills
n
