Bendigo Day Surgery is a well-established day hospital featuring the Operating Theatres and offering a comprehensive range of surgical specialties including Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, IVF Surgery, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Urology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Podiatric Surgery and Dermatology.

We are seeking a
Registered Nurse with experience in anaesthetics
to join us on a part-time or casual basis.
To be successful in your application for this position, you will have: n
2 years post graduate experience with at least 1-year clinical experience essential in anaesthetics.
n
Knowledge in the field of high-tech medical equipment; specifically, Anaesthetic machine - care, maintenance and problem solving
n
Exceptional clinical skills
n
Ability to respond to appropriately to emergency situations
n
Understanding of the principles of Infection Control, essential
n
Evidence of ongoing Professional Development
n
Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices
n
The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
n
High level of written and verbal communication skills
n
An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care
n
