Join Our Floral Merchandising Team in Wollongong and Shellharbour

We are partnered with Australia's largest wholesaler of fresh flowers and potted products and are seeking a reliable and flexible merchandiser to service stores across Unanderra, Dapto, Shellharbour and Shell Cove.
n
This role offers an ongoing merchandising run, together with two planned periods of increased hours while providing leave coverage. It would suit someone who values regular part-time hours but can increase their availability when required.
n
The Role
n
As part of our floral merchandising team, you will maintain attractive floral and potted displays within major supermarkets across the Wollongong and Shellharbour areas.
n
Your regular run will cover approximately ***** hours of work per week, generally spread across three days between Monday and Saturday.
n
The successful applicant must also be available to provide planned leave coverage during the following periods:
n
n
Mid-November to late December ****: approximately 30 hours per week
n
Mid-February to mid-March ****: approximately 30 hours per week
n
n
Outside these periods, some flexibility with working days will be required to assist with additional leave coverage when needed.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Merchandising fresh flowers and potted products in major supermarket chains
n




Creating and maintaining attractive point-of-sale displays
n
Monitoring stock levels and working with store managers to support product availability
n
Transporting stock from the loading dock to the shop floor
n
Unpacking and displaying products, including lifting items weighing up to 12 kg
n
Maintaining clean display areas and checking product quality
n
Engaging professionally with customers, store teams and department managers
n

About You
n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n
Has a reliable vehicle and current driver's licence
n
Is available for both planned leave-cover periods
n
Can work flexibly across Monday to Saturday
n
Is reliable, organised and comfortable working independently
n
Is physically fit and able to lift up to 12 kg
n
Has strong communication and customer service skills
n
Is well presented and takes pride in creating attractive displays
n
Ideally has retail, supermarket or merchandising experience, although training will be provided
n
