An Intermediate Accountant role at a small accounting firm based in Parramatta, supporting small business clients to remodel and secure their financial future. This full-time role is crucial to the growth of the team and business, with room to progress and upskill your own professional development.
Key responsibilities n
Preparing business financial statements and company income tax returns using Xero
n
Preparation of quarterly business activity statements
n
Processing superannuation fund transactions using Class software
n
Individual tax returns
About you n
3-5 years experience in a public accounting practice
n
Ideally completing CA/CPA/IPA studies (TAFE equivalent would be considered)
n
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
n
Proficient with XERO accounting software
n
Positive, highly motivated with a friendly personality
n
Can do attitude,



take initiative and like to problem solve
n
High attention to detail and accuracy
n
Articulate, well-spoken with excellent written and oral communication skills
n
Organised with valuable time management and able to handle deadlines
n
Self-starter who likes to keep up to date with industry standards
