We're looking for an experienced
Employee Relations Partne
r to join a global technology company on a 6-month contract based in Sydney. This is a hands-on, case-focused role supporting managers and employees across Australia and Recent Zealand on all things workplace relations.
n
You'll be the frontline point of contact for performance challenges, conduct matters, and workplace investigations — bringing both legal knowledge and genuine empathy to every interaction.
Key Responsibiliti n
n
Conducting low-to-moderate complexity workplace investigations (retaliation, conduct, performance, hostile work environment) and producing clear, objective reports
n
Coaching managers through difficult performance conversations and helping design documentation aligned to ANZ employment law
n
Mediating interpersonal conflict before it escalates, with neutrality and care
n




Supporting employees through sensitive or crisis situations in partnership with relevant stakeholders
n
Maintaining case tracking tools, producing trend reporting, and contributing to continuous process improvement across the ANZ ER function
n
Ideal Candidate n
n
5+ years in an ER, HR, or related role with direct experience in workplace investigations and/or performance management
n
Strong working knowledge of Australian and/or New Zealand employment law
n
A calm, composed presence in emotionally charged situations — you're the kind of person people trust
n
Experience with HR ticketing systems and HRIS platforms; ServiceNow familiarity a bonus
n
Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
n
Comfortable working autonomously and managing your own caseload
n
