Berendsen Fluid Power is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Richlands team. You'll take ownership of field-based hydraulic repairs, maintenance and fault-finding, working directly with customers across a diverse range of industries.

This isn't a role where you'll spend every day doing the same thing in the same workshop. You'll work across a diverse range of industrial environments, with plenty of variety in the equipment, customers and challenges you encounter.

What you'll be doing n
You'll be trusted to head out to customer sites,



understand what's happening with their equipment and find the right solution.
Your Tasks n
n
Diagnosing faults in hydraulic systems and circuits
n
Carrying out hydraulic repairs, maintenance and servicing
n
Stripping, inspecting, repairing and testing hydraulic components
n
Reading hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
n
Completing installations and breakdown work
n
Providing practical advice and updates directly to customers
n
Completing service reports and associated job documentation
n
Working across customer sites throughout the wider region, including travel towards Rockhampton, Maryborough and, at times, Gympie
n
What are we looking for? n
You don't need to have spent your entire career working for a hydraulic company.
n
We'd like to hear from you if you have:
n
n
A Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
(Fitting/Machining)
or relevant Diesel Fitter qualification
n
Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining hydraulic systems or circuits
n
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
n
A current driver's licence
n
The confidence to work independently in the field
n
A practical, safety-focused approach to your work
n
n
Just as importantly, you'll be comfortable dealing directly with customers. We're looking for someone who is approachable, knowledgeable and able to communicate clearly on site.
n
If you've built your hydraulics experience through heavy industry, mobile plant, diesel fitting, manufacturing, maintenance or another mechanical environment, we'd still like to hear from you.
