An exciting prospect is available for an experienced
Licensing Officer
to join a Victorian Government regulatory organisation. Working within a busy licensing function, you will be responsible for managing enquiries, assessing licensing and registration matters, providing accurate guidance to stakeholders and ensuring matters are resolved or referred appropriately.

3 months contract role.
About the role n
n
Act as a key point of contact for telephone, written, online and in-person enquiries.
n
Assess enquiries and resolve first-tier matters where appropriate.
n
Provide accurate guidance and support regarding licensing, registration and regulatory requirements.
n
Assess matters in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines.
n
Identify matters requiring further consideration and refer them to the appropriate internal or external area.
n
Liaise with internal teams,



external stakeholders and members of the public.
n
About you n
n
Experience within a Victorian Government or regulatory environment.
n
Experience working with licensing, registration, compliance, regulatory or similar processes.
n
The ability to understand, interpret and apply legislation, policy and procedural guidelines.
n
Confidence managing enquiries and determining the appropriate course of action or referral pathway.
n
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
n
High computer literacy and an understanding of confidentiality and privacy requirements.
n
A collaborative and resilient approach when working within a busy team environment.
n
A tertiary qualification in law will be highly regarded
n
