We're looking for Occupational Therapists to join our team in Corrimal and Nowra, supporting communities across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. We welcome conversations with clinicians who bring different strengths, experiences and interests.
About Facilitate OT
Facilitate OT is a locally owned, OT-led practice supporting people to participate in everyday life at home, school, work and in the community.
Our team works across DVA, aged care, icare, CTP, Medicare, private services and selected NDIS participants. That breadth creates opportunities to build your skills, explore different areas of practice and develop a varied career within one team.
A role that builds on your interests
We'll work with you to shape a role that brings together your experience, clinical interests and the needs of our clients.
Depending on your skills and the opportunities available, your work could include:
Adult and aged care:
supporting independence, daily routines, safety and participation at home and in the community.
Rehabilitation:
working with people following injury or with neurological and other complex conditions.
Equipment and home modifications:
finding practical solutions, from everyday aids to complex seating and access.
Paediatrics and school partnerships:
supporting participation through collaboration with children, families and educators.
Driving assessment and rehabilitation:
opportunities for suitably qualified OTs or clinicians interested in developing this specialist area.
Case management and report writing:
coordinating services, working with clients and their support teams, and developing clear reports that guide rehabilitation, care and funding decisions.
Clinical development:
contributing to mentoring, student supervision, service improvement or new programs,



where these align with your experience and interests.
You don't need experience in every area. You might want to deepen an existing specialty, broaden your community practice skills or explore a new direction with support.

About you
You enjoy practical, person-centred Occupational Therapy and building strong relationships with clients, families and their support teams.
You're someone who:

Communicates clearly and is developing or refining strong clinical reasoning, organisation and time management skills.
Enjoys contributing ideas and working alongside a supportive team.

Experience in community OT, rehabilitation, aged care, DVA or paediatrics is welcome, but you don't need experience across every clinical area or funding scheme.

Essential Must-Haves
Bachelor or Masters of Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
Medicare provider eligibility
Working With Children Check
National Police Check
Current driver's license and access to a vehicle (travel allowance applies)
Strong communication, organisation and time management skills
Two or more years' Occupational Therapy experience preferred
