About the business

We are a licensed formal Japanese / Sushi train restaurant with table service in Eatons hill , north side of Brisbane.
n
We have been successfully open for 7 years offering Donburi, Sashimi, Salad, Dessert and sushi dishes as well as beers and wine
n
About the role
n
We are currently seeking experienced chefs who are an expert in Japanese cuisine but also have the understanding of local preference.
n
n
1. Monitor food preparation and methods.
n
2. Direct cleaning of kitchen and dining areas to maintain sanitation standards, and keep appropriate records.
n
3. Monitor actions of staff and customers to ensure that health and safety standards
n
4. May use computer software to monitor inventory, track staff schedules and pay, and perform other record keeping tasks.
n
5.



Check quality of deliveries of fresh food.
n
6. Meet with sales representatives to order supplies such as tableware, cooking utensils, and cleaning items.
n
7. Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services.
n
8. Select or create successful menu items based on many considerations, and assign prices based on cost analysis.
n
10. Estimate food consumption, place orders with suppliers, and schedule delivery of fresh food and beverages.
n
11. Resolve customer complaints about food quality or service.
