Looking for a rewarding, hands on career? As a Works Plant Operator, you'll work alongside an experienced team to deliver road and infrastructure projects, operating and maintaining a range of plant and equipment across the municipality.
n
nAbout the Role n
n
The Works Plant Operator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
n
n
n
n
Carry out maintenance and repair works on both sealed and unsealed roads.
n
n
Operate a broad range of plant and machinery in a safe and effective manner.
n
n
Perform drainage maintenance across Council's network, including pit cleaning, pipe and kerb repairs, and open drain clearing.
n
n
Undertake concrete repair works, including grinding, asphalt wedging and reinstatements.
n
n
Safely operate and maintain plant, machinery, equipment, and tools in accordance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
n
n




Maintain a protected working environment and comply with relevant codes of practice, OH&S; legislation, Council policies, and procedures.
n

nAbout You n
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
n
n
Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining plant and equipment used in road maintenance and construction activities.
n
n
Construction Induction Card.
n
n
Heavy Rigid Vehicle Licence.
n
n
Satisfactory National Police Check.
n
n
Successful completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
n
n
Valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
n
n
n
