Experienced Archaeologist / Cultural Heritage Consultant

Take ownership of projects and play a key role in CHCG's continued growth.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Deliver CHMPs from commencement to approval.
n
Undertake field surveys, standard and complex assessments, test excavations and salvage programs.
n
Prepare technical reports and ACHRIS submissions.
n
Liaise with RAPs, clients, landowners and government agencies.
n
Manage proposals, budgets, schedules, client relationships and business development opportunities.
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Experience delivering CHMPs in Victoria.
n
Registered Victorian Heritage Advisor, or eligible for registration.
n
Strong knowledge of the Aboriginal Heritage Act ****, Aboriginal Heritage Regulations and Ministerial Guidelines.
n
Excellent technical writing, communication and project management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple projects.
n
Current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Victoria.
n
