Join a well-known underground mining contractor at a large-scale hard rock operation in Central NSW. This is a long-term opportunity for experienced Service Crew Operators looking for a lifestyle-friendly roster, strong earning potential and the chance to progress into a permanent position.

12-hour shifts with accommodation and meals provided

Long-term contract with an established underground mining contractor

Casual hourly rates up to $60ph

For experience service crew looking to step up into leading hand rates up to $66ph
n
DIDO / FIFO options available with DIDO allowance or flights paid
n
Start as a casual labour hire contractor with the intention of moving to a permanent position after 26 weeks / 12 swings (extremely likely but not guaranteed)

The Mine Site
n
Based in Central NSW, you'll be working at a large and established gold mining operation with both open pit and underground operations. The underground mine is relatively new and continues to ramp up production, providing plenty of long-term work and development opportunities.

The Role
n
Working as part of the underground service crew, you'll play an important role in installing and maintaining the infrastructure and services required to keep the underground operation moving. It's a hands-on and varied role working across different areas of the mine.

Install, extend and maintain underground air, water and service lines
n
Install and maintain ventilation infrastructure, including vent bags,



ducting and fans
n
Assist with installation and maintenance of pumps, sumps and general underground infrastructure
n
Carry out general construction, service installation and maintenance work throughout the underground mine
n
Operate ITs, work baskets, light vehicles and other underground equipment as required
n
n
Roster & Camp
n
The position offers a genuine two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off lifestyle roster, with everything taken care of while you're on swing.
n
n
2:2 roster (7 days, 7 nights, 14 days off)
n
12-hour shifts - approximately 5:30am to 5:30pm / 5:30pm to 5:30am
n
Private ensuite accommodation at a purpose-built camp in Central NSW
n
Buffet-style breakfast and evening meals provided
n
Daily shuttle bus between camp and site
n

Your Background
n
We're looking for experienced Service Crew Operators who have worked within underground hard rock mining and are comfortable working across a range of underground services and infrastructure.
n
n
Previous service crew experience within underground hard rock mining
n
Experience installing and maintaining air, water, ventilation and underground services
n
Experience operating ITs and working from work baskets underground
n
Strong understanding of underground mining procedures and safety requirements
n
Current driver's licence with a reliable and team-focused approach to work
n
n
