An established insurance builder is looking for an experienced Building Supervisor to join their Brisbane team, managing residential insurance repair works across the region.
n
Working within the General Works team, you'll manage a portfolio of insurance repairs predominantly valued up to $200k, taking ownership of jobs from commencement through to completion.

The Role
n
You'll be responsible for managing multiple insurance repair projects concurrently, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
n
Day to day, you will:
n
n
Manage residential insurance repair projects predominantly valued up to $200k
n
Conduct site inspections and oversee works from commencement through to handover
n
Coordinate and schedule trades, subcontractors and suppliers
n
Manage project timelines and ensure works remain on schedule
n




Review scopes and identify variations or additional works where required
n
Monitor workmanship and ensure repairs meet quality standards
n
Liaise with homeowners throughout the repair process and manage expectations
n
Work closely with internal estimating, claims and administration teams
n
Maintain accurate job notes, photos and site documentation
n
Manage defects and outstanding works through to final completion
n
Ensure sites comply with WHS requirements and relevant building regulations
n
n
About You
n
Ideally, you will have:
n
n
Previous experience as a Building Supervisor within insurance repairs
n
Alternatively, strong residential construction or maintenance experience with an understanding of insurance works
n
Solid knowledge of residential construction and repair methodologies
n
Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors
n
The ability to manage a high-volume portfolio of jobs at different stages
n
Strong organisation and time-management skills
n
Confidence communicating with homeowners, trades and internal stakeholders
n
A strong focus on quality and customer service
n
Current driver's licence
n
Relevant trade qualifications and/or QBCC licence highly regarded
n
n
