Northside Clinic is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. The position is casual (weekdays, after hours and weekends) with the flexibility to cover sick leave and annual leave.

Northside Clinic has a particular focus on providing quality medical care in a safe and friendly workplace for the LGBTIQA+ and HIV positive communities in Melbourne's inner north. We also provide General Practice care to the local community in Fitzroy North.

Responsibilities /n

Welcome and assist patients with enquiries and appointments

/n
Answer and respond to telephone enquiries in a courteous and professional manner Accurately process patient payments (cash, EFTPOS, direct billing)

/n
Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records

/n
Contribute to the smooth daily operations of the medical center

/n

/n
Prior Experience: Previous experience in an accredited general practice is preferred.

/n
Software Proficiency: Experience using Best Practice software is a significant advantage.

/n
Relevant Experience: Retail experience may be beneficial.

/n
