Vietnam Pho Pho restaurant is looking for two (2) experienced chef/cook who wants to work in a contemporary kitchen which incorporate both high volume and quality. It's essential that you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to work quickly, whilst taking pride in making authentic, wholesome dishes.

The food has a contemporary Vietnamese influence with an emphasis on regional ingredients and produce form our region.

The restaurant has earned a outstanding reputation with both locals and visitors. You must possess at least two-year experience in Asian food and cuisine; as well as qualification III or IV in commercial cookery. Applicants must be able to work well in a team and have a great attitude towards the work.

Tasks including:

/n

/n
examining foodstuffs to ensure quality

/n
regulating temperatures of ovens,



grills and other cooking equipment

/n
preparing and cooking food

/n
seasoning food during cooking

/n
portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes

/n
storing food in temperature controlled facilities

/n
preparing food to meet special dietary requirements

/n
may plan menus and estimate food requirements

/n
may train other kitchen staff and apprentices

You will have an ability to work under pressure, have an eye for detail, maintain a protected & hygienic work setting and essentially, take pride in your work. Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum.
