About the role: We are currently seeking a Casual ENG Camera Operator/Editor to join our team in Newcastle/Central Coast.

Reporting to the State News Director
NBN, you will be responsible for shooting and editing high quality stories for news and updates.

Working in a regional newsroom is an opportunity like no other
it is truly a rewarding experience where you will get to shoot all rounds of news.

In areas such as the environment, sport, politics, you name it
you have the control to make a difference within the community.

About you:

To be the successful candidate, you will have:

Demonstrated skills with both camera operation and editing

/n
Experience shooting interviews, sport and community activities

/n




A high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail

/n
Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

/n
Ability to operate productively in a team setting, contributing positively to our operation and to working relationships

/n
Ability to contribute ideas, and to demonstrate initiative and flexibility

/n
Positive work ethic, with ability and willingness to learn new systems

/n
High level of creativity with the flair to 'see' a news story
