Start: Immediate / ahead of the busy spring season

About the role /n

We’re looking for an experienced Nursery Retail & Horticulture Team Member to join our friendly team in Sandringham.

/n

This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves plants, enjoys working with people, and has experience in a retail nursery or horticulture environment .

/n

You’ll be involved in both plant care and retail sales , helping customers find the right plants and products while keeping the nursery looking healthy, organized, and inviting.

What you’ll be doing /n

/n
Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service

/n
Helping customers select plants and garden products

/n
Using your horticultural and plant knowledge to provide advice

/n
Caring for plants and maintaining displays

/n
Watering, pruning, potting and general nursery duties

/n
Replenishing and organizing stock

/n
Operating the POS and processing sales





/n
Keeping the nursery clean, tidy and presentable

/n
Assisting the team during busy periods, particularly spring and weekends

/n

The ideal person will have:

Previous retail nursery or horticulture experience

/n
Valuable knowledge of plants and general horticulture

/n
Solid sales and customer service skills

/n
A friendly, approachable personality

/n
Good communication skills

/n
A solid work ethic and positive attitude

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

/n
Weekend availability , particularly during our busy spring period

/n
A genuine passion for plants and gardening
