Rotoplas is a manufacturer of poly rainwater tanks, delivering to domestic, commercial, and rural sites throughout the Sydney, Illawarra, Newcastle, South Coast, Canberra and Southern Highlands regions.
The Role /n
We are looking for a physically fit and experienced MR driver to deliver our products, including load & unload, and communicating with customers regarding deliveries.
This Is What We Are After /n
/n
MR and Forklift licence, with experience
/n
Competence and experience in strapping and securing large loads
/n
Experience and confidence in towing a large trailer
/n
Ability to follow planned delivery schedules (every load is different!)
/n
Physical strength and fitness- some heavy lifting/pushing will be required
/n
Problem solving ability- not all deliveries go to plan, and some present unexpected challenges!
/n
Basic customer service skills- each delivery must end with a happy customer!
/n
Other Details to Note /n
We deliverto a range of customers including rural properties, building sites and retail stores. Destinations will vary from easy drops at stores with forklift unload, through to residential addresses where a bit of creativity may be required to help the customer out.
/n
Our fleet includes MR flatbed trucks and long trailers, and some deliveries include oversize loads.
/n
We are based in Unanderra, NSW, and our deliveries are limited to locations to which return trips can be made in a single day- normally no overnight stays required.
/n
Our workplaces are non-smoking areas at all times, including in vehicles.
