Join the team at McGuire Hotels' RQ's Tavern as a Commis Chef. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in Robina, QLD 4226 . As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of a diverse range of high-quality dishes.

What you'll be doing /n

Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of a variety of menu items

/n

Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and in a timely manner

/n

Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations

/n

Contribute to the development and testing of new menu items

/n

Participate in stock management and ordering processes

/n

Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen

What we're looking for /n

Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry

/n

Demonstrated expertise in Chefs/Cooks duties, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation

/n





Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work well under pressure

/n

Robust attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

/n

Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes and a willingness to learn and develop your culinary skills

/n

Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the kitchen brigade
