Longboards Laidback Eatery & Bar, situated under the iconic Q1 building in Surfers Paradise, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef to join our dynamic team. If you are a qualified chef with a great attitude, a team player, and possess a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities: /n
/n
Assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
/n
Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu and standards.
/n
Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop current menu items and specials.
/n
Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring proper stock rotation.
/n
Assisting in the ordering and receiving of supplies.
/n
Ensuring a clean and organised kitchen environment.
/n
Requirements: /n
/n
Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a rapid-paced kitchen environment.
/n
Formal culinary training and relevant qualifications as a chef.
/n
A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
/n
Robust leadership skills and the ability to work well within a team.
/n
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
/n
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
/n
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
/n
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
/n
Salary and Benefits: /n

Market-competitive salary of $79,500.00 per year plus superannuation.
