Roadworthiness Technician / Licensed Vehicle Tester (LVT)

Valley Motor Group is seeking an experienced Roadworthiness Technician / Licensed Vehicle Tester (LVT) to join our team.
n
This role will primarily focus on Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) inspections and used vehicle reconditioning, ensuring vehicles meet Victorian roadworthiness requirements and our dealership standards.

The Role
n

Conduct Victorian Roadworthy Certificate inspections
n
Complete all required LVT documentation accurately and compliantly
n
Inspect, diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models
n
Identify and rectify items required to achieve roadworthy standards
n
Assist with used vehicle inspections and reconditioning
n
Conduct road tests and confirm repair quality
n
Work with our workshop and sales teams to achieve efficient vehicle turnaround
n

About You
n

Current Victorian Licensed Vehicle Tester (LVT) accreditation – essential
n
Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent
n
Experience conducting Roadworthy Certificate inspections
n
Strong mechanical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
