Dental Practice Manager – Established & Growing Dental Practice Blue Mountains / Western Sydney, NSW Attractive Salary Package + Sign-On Incentive for the Right Candidate The Opportunity n
An established, busy and progressive dental practice in the
Blue Mountains / Western Sydney region
is seeking an experienced and highly capable
Dental Practice Manager
to lead its team and oversee the day‐to‐day operations of the practice.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dental professional who enjoys leadership, accountability, developing people and creating systems that allow a practice to operate at a consistently high standard.
n
The practice is well established, continues to grow and has invested significantly in modern technology, systems, training and the patient experience.
n
We are looking for someone who wants to take genuine ownership of the role rather than simply manage the day‐to‐day.
n

About the Role n
As Practice Manager, you will work closely with the Practice Principal and take responsibility for the operational performance of the practice.
n
You will lead the administrative and clinical support teams, develop systems, maintain accountability and help create an organised, positive and high‐performing workplace.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Leading, supporting and developing the dental assisting and front office teams
n
Recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing staff development
n
Conducting regular team meetings, morning huddles and performance reviews
n
Managing staff rosters, leave and day‐to‐day staffing requirements
n
Maintaining clear systems, protocols, checklists and accountability measures
n
Overseeing appointment book efficiency and practice workflow
n
Monitoring key practice KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement
n




Improving patient communication, service and overall patient experience
n
Managing patient concerns professionally and proactively
n
Overseeing stock, inventory and supplier relationships
n
Ensuring outstanding presentation and organisation throughout the practice
n
Supporting accounts, billing, debt management and financial reporting
n
Maintaining compliance with infection control, WHS, privacy and relevant healthcare regulations
n
Working closely with clinicians to ensure efficient clinical operations
n
Supporting marketing initiatives, patient retention and practice growth
n
Identifying operational problems and implementing practical solutions
n
Reporting regularly to the Practice Principal on performance, staffing and operational matters
n
About You n
We are looking for someone who is
organised, proactive and confident leading a team
.
n
You will ideally already have experience managing a busy dental practice and understand the unique challenges involved in coordinating clinicians, reception, dental assistants, patients and the appointment book.
n
You are someone who notices what needs to be done and takes action.
n
You will have:
n
n
Previous experience as a
Dental Practice Manager, Practice Coordinator, Front Office Coordinator or senior dental administrator
n
Strong leadership and people‐management skills
n
Excellent organisational and time‐management abilities
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Confidence having difficult conversations and maintaining accountability
n
A high level of attention to detail




n
A strong understanding of the patient journey and patient experience
n
Experience with dental practice management software
n
An understanding of dental terminology and treatment workflows
n
Solid computer and administrative skills
n
The ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
n
A professional, positive and solutions‐focused approach
n
n
Previous dental management experience will be highly regarded.
n
Formal Practice Management qualifications are advantageous but
not essential where substantial dental experience can be demonstrated
.
