An opportunity for a team leader / drafting manager / scheduler or production manager to take on their next challenge!
n
Lead and develop a large drafting team in the Sunshine Coast.
n
Whislt drafting knowledge is a must, a big part of the role is the leadership, mentorship and driving quality and standards. You will play a critical role in coordianting the team & ensuring work produce is accurate and productive.
Please note the role is based in the Sunshine Coast and would not suit a fully remote candidate.
The Role: n
n
Lead, mentor and develop a team of up to 8 / 9 onsite drafters
n
Set daily priorities and coordinate team workflow
n
Ensure drawings are accurate, detailed, and construction-ready
n
Review shop drawings before issue to Project Managers
n
Monitor output to ensure targets and deadlines are met
n
Drive improvements in systems, processes and efficiencies
n




Maintain and uplift drafting standards across all projects
n
About you: n
n
Strong knowledge of joinery drafting - Pallette Cad would be advantageous but not essential (would accept similar software knowledge - microvellum, cabinet vision, pytha or similar)
n
Excellent understanding of joinery construction methodology
n
