The Role n
We're looking for a
Workplace Safety Manager
to lead and evolve workplace health and safety across AP+ in a permanent part time capacity (two days per week or 15.2 hours spread across the week).
n
This is a highly visible role that partners with leaders across the business to embed a proactive safety culture, enhance risk management practices, and ensure our workplace experience reflects the standards of a modern, high-performing organisation.
n
As our subject matter expert in workplace health and safety, you'll provide strategic guidance, influence decision-making, and help shape policies, frameworks and initiatives that support our people and business objectives.
n
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to a workplace that prioritises wellbeing, accountability and operational excellence.

This is a flexible role requiring on-site presence in our Sydney CBD office two days per week, ideally Tuesday and Thursday, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact while maintaining work-life balance.
This Role Is Responsible For n
As AP+'s workplace health and safety subject matter expert, you'll:
n

Lead and continuously improve our workplace health and safety framework.
n
Provide trusted advice to leaders on WHS governance, compliance and risk management.
n
Drive risk assessments, audits, emergency preparedness and safety initiatives.
n
Partner with leaders to proactively identify and manage workplace risks.
n
Oversee contractor and supplier WHS governance to ensure consistent standards.
n
Support workplace wellbeing and employee experience initiatives.
n
Monitor legislative and industry changes, ensuring our practices remain contemporary and compliant.
n
Use data and reporting to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
n
Build strong relationships across the business to influence positive safety outcomes.

What You'll Bring n
n
Robust proven experience working in a Workplace Safety role within a professional services environment.
n
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance requirements and contemporary risk management practices.
n
Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
n
Experience partnering with senior leaders to deliver business-focused safety outcomes.
n
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills,
with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
n
Experience managing third-party providers, contractors and supplier relationships.
n
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to provide trusted advice and constructive challenge.
n
A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for creating better workplace outcomes.

A collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
