We're looking for an organised and proactive
Procurement Assistant
to join our Procurement team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, likes staying on top of details, and wants to build a career in procurement and supply chain.
n
n
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping our purchasing running smoothly - from raising orders to chasing up suppliers and keeping customers informed on backorders.
n
n
We are open to concluding University applicants who may wish to kick-start their career before graduating (i.e. beginning with a part time schedule before moving into Full-Time position at conclusion of studies).

nWhat You'll Be Doing n

n
Raising routine Purchase Orders with approved suppliers
n
n




Following up on supplier ETAs, shortages and outstanding orders
n
n
Managing the day-to-day customer backorder process
n
n
Maintaining accurate purchasing and supplier records
n
n
Handling purchasing admin, including the purchasing inbox and credit card purchases
n
n
Assisting with stock adjustments and new product/item setup
n
n
Providing purchasing coverage and support to the wider team
n
n
n
