We are currently seeking an experienced
Store person / Forklift Operator
to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused warehouse professional with experience in steel, aluminum, paper, cardboard, or similar industrial environments.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operating 5T and 12T counterbalance forklifts
n
Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
n
Handling and stripping steel coils
n
Operating a C-hook crane to load machinery (training provided)
n
Booking incoming stock using warehouse systems
n
Using RF scanners to locate and track inventory
n
Working collaboratively within the coil bay team to meet operational targets
n
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Experience operating counterbalance forklifts, ideally 5T-12T
n
Previous warehouse, stores, or steel industry experience
n
Robust commitment to workplace safety
n
Ability to perform manual handling and physical work
n
Basic computer skills for stock receipting and inventory management
n
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
n
Overhead crane experience (advantageous but not essential)
n
n
