We are looking for
highly skilled and experienced Passive Fire Technicians
to join our team.
THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION n
We are looking for technicians with
extensive industry knowledge and proven hands-on experience
in passive fire protection.
n
You must be confident working independently, understand passive fire systems thoroughly, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
About the Role n
Your work will include:
n
n
n
Passive fire penetration sealing and fire stopping
n
n
Fire collars, wraps, pillows and other passive fire systems
n
n
Fire-rated walls, floors and service penetrations
n
n
Reading plans and identifying compliant solutions
n
n
Completing quality-control documentation and site records
n
n
n
n
Use of CTRL Doc system
n
n
n
n
Working in accordance with Australian Standards, NCC requirements and manufacturer specifications
n
What We're Looking For n




Extensive passive fire experience is essential.
n
We are looking for workers who:
n
n
n
Have strong practical knowledge of passive fire systems including but not limited to TBA FIREFLY, TRAFALGAR, PROMAT AND BOSS.
n
n
Can identify and rectify non-compliant installations
n
n
Understand fire ratings, penetrations and compliant installation methods
n
n
Can read and interpret construction plans
n
n
Work efficiently with minimal supervision
n
n
Have a strong eye for detail and quality
n
n
Take safety and compliance seriously
n
n
Are reliable, punctual and skilled
n
n
Hold a current driver's licence and White Card
n
n
Have a strong work ethic and take pride in their work
n
n
If you don't have substantial passive fire experience, this position isn't for you.
