What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like: n
Working alongside a collaborative workshop team, you will assemble, overhaul, repair, and test specialised HVAC systems:

Execute repairs, overhauls, and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty locomotive and passenger rollingstock HVAC units.
n
Assemble and test HVAC systems according to work instructions, manuals, and rigorous quality standards.
n
Champion health, safety,



and 5S/LEAN continuous improvement practices across the shop floor.
n
What We're Looking For: Essential Requirements: n
n
Trade Qualification:
Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration / HVAC Trade.
n
ARCtick
Refrigerant Handling Licence.
n
Valid Drivers licence
n
Robust troubleshooting ability, attention to detail and excellent verbal communication.
n
Ability to complete a
Rail CAT3 Medical
, Drug & Alcohol and police check prior to commencement.
n
Desirable: n
n
Prior experience with rollingstock, heavy machinery, or transit HVAC systems.
n
Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing methodologies.
n
High-risk or safety tickets (Forklift, EWP, Work Safely at Heights, First Aid, RIW/SARC).
n
Ambition to step into formal team leading or management in the future.
n
