A well established regional accounting firm in Wangaratta is looking for an experienced Manager to lead client relationships and mentor a growing team.
About The Role n
This is a genuine opportunity to step into a Manager position within a highly regarded, long standing business services and tax practice based in Wangaratta. You'll take carriage of a diverse portfolio of business clients, lead a team of accountants, and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice. This firm has built a strong reputation across the region over many decades and offers real pathways to progress toward Director level.
What You Will Be Doing n
n
Managing a portfolio of business services and tax clients across a range of industries
n
Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and income tax provisions prepared by your team
n
Providing proactive tax planning and business advisory support to clients
n
Leading, mentoring and developing a team of accountants from graduate through to senior level
n
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
n
Liaising directly with Partners on complex technical matters and client strategy
n




Supporting practice management initiatives including WIP, billing and team workflow
n
What We Are Looking For n
n
CA or CPA qualified
n
Proven experience operating at Manager level within public practice
n
Strong technical knowledge across business services, tax and compliance
n
Confident leading and developing junior staff
n
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
n
A collaborative approach and genuine interest in helping clients grow their business
n
