About The Role n
As an Enrolled Nurse at Karana Aged Care, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents within your scope of practice and under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Your Role Will Include n
n
Providing compassionate, person-centred nursing care to residents.
n
Supporting residents with their physical and emotional needs and activities of daily living.
n
Completing nursing assessments and using appropriate assessment tools.
n
Monitoring residents and recognising and escalating changes in their condition.
n
Developing and implementing care plans in consultation with residents and the Registered Nurse.
n
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
n
Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses, care staff, allied health professionals, residents and families.
n
Supporting residents' dignity, independence and personal choice.
n
Contributing to contemporary aged-care practices and high standards of clinical care.
n
Supporting residents with complex physical needs and behaviours associated with dementia and other conditions.
n
Participating in ongoing professional development and maintaining clinical competency.
n

Essential n
n
Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
n
Demonstrated competence as an Enrolled Nurse in accordance with NMBA requirements.
n
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the National Standards and Aged Care Standards.
n
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent clinical care in accordance with Yarrawonga Health policies and procedures.
n
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
n
