A major bank is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer with robust AKS expertise to join a customer reliability engineering team on a 12-month contract. Role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne- 2 days a week in the office
Key responsibilities n
n
Engineer, automate and support Azure cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on AKS.
n
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable reliable, repeatable and secure delivery.
n
Build and enhance Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
n
Contribute to customer reliability engineering outcomes, improving resilience, availability and performance.
n
Work closely with platform, engineering and reliability teams to uplift automation and operational maturity.
n
Apply strong engineering practices to solve platform challenges, avoiding manual or reactive operations where automation is possible.
n

Key Skills / Experience n
n
Strong hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience.
n
Deep AKS experience, including platform build, administration, troubleshooting and optimisation.
n
Solid automation and engineering capability across cloud infrastructure environments.
n
Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
n
Experience working in an SRE, reliability engineering or platform engineering environment is highly desirable.
n
Background in large enterprise environments; experience within a top-tier banking or financial services environment will be highly regarded.
n
