Are you passionate about sustainability, community engagement and helping households reduce their energy costs?
We're seeking an experienced Sustainability Programs Officer to deliver programs and initiatives that support residents to improve energy efficiency, reduce bill stress and access practical information on renewable energy and electrification.
This is a hands‐on role combining project management, community engagement and education, with a strong focus on delivering positive outcomes for diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver household energy and sustainability programs
Plan and facilitate community workshops, information sessions and events
Support residents with information on energy efficiency, electrification, renewable energy, rebates and available support programs
Develop educational resources, promotional materials and community communications
Build and maintain relationships with community groups, service providers and key stakeholders
Manage projects from planning through to implementation, reporting and evaluation
Monitor program outcomes and maintain accurate records and reporting data
About You
You will bring:




Experience in sustainability, environmental programs, community engagement, community development or a similar field
Strong project coordination or project management experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience delivering workshops, community programs or educational initiatives
The ability to communicate complex information in a explicit and engaging way
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Current Driver's Licence
Relevant qualifications in sustainability, environmental studies, community development, social sciences or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
