We are an award-winning retail nursery with two locations - Willow Park Nursery and Heritage Nursery - and are currently seeking a motivated and reliable
Nursery Hand
/ Horticulturist
to join our friendly and hardworking team.
n
We are looking for someone with
horticultural knowledge and/or previous retail nursery experience
who is confident assisting customers with plant selection, care and more technical horticultural advice.
n
This is a physically active, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a busy retail environment. The successful applicant must be available to work across
both nursery locations
and hold a
valid Australian driver's licence
.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Assisting customers with plant selection, identification, care and horticultural advice
n
Providing knowledgeable and qualified customer service
n
Unpacking and unloading deliveries
n
General nursery maintenance
n
Repotting,
watering, and plant care
n
n
n
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
n
What We're Looking For n
n
A horticultural qualification and/or previous retail nursery experience
n
Strong plant knowledge and the ability to confidently provide customers with practical plant advice
n
Maturity, resilience, and reliability
n
Strong physical fitness – must be capable of lifting and carrying items over
25kg
n
Ability to work outdoors in a wide variety of weather conditions
n
Excellent attention to detail and tidy personal presentation
n
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to multi-task
n
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
n
Additional Information n

This role includes a
probationary period of 3–6 months
n
