We're looking for a
Shift Maintenance Fitter
to join our high-performing maintenance team on an
equal-time 12-hour day/night roster
. This is a hands‐on role supporting a fast‐paced, highly automated production environment—perfect for a mechanically‐minded tradesperson who thrives on problem‐solving and plant reliability.
What You'll Be Doing n
n
Preventative and breakdown maintenance across bakery machinery, conveyors, ovens, provers and utilities
n
Mechanical fault finding, diagnostics and repair of automated plant and equipment (conveyor systems, pneumatics, motor/gearboxes, pumps etc)
n
Supporting production teams to maximise uptime, reliability and safety




n
Identifying and implementing equipment improvement opportunities
n
Contributing to a positive, team-focused maintenance culture on shift
n
What You Bring n
n
Mechanical Fitter/Trade Qualification (mandatory)
n
Industrial, FMCG or manufacturing maintenance experience
n
Strong fault-finding and mechanical diagnostics capability
n
Experience with conveyors, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, motors
n
A proactive, safety-first mindset with strong communication skills
n
