Harmony is the largest gold producer by volume in South Africa and is a significant operator of gold tailings retreatment facilities. In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley mine and owns 50% of the Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project. In Australia, Harmony owns the high-grade CSA copper mine in Cobar, NSW and is constructing the Eva Copper Mine in Cloncurry, QLD with first production targeted for the second half of the **** calendar year. These assets are supported by the Harmony Australasia regional corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane.

This role will be offered as a FIFO opportunity from/to Australia working on a *****-day roster.
n
n
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Information Communications Technology (ICT) Operations Superintendent is the primary site technology representative ensuring local technology services support production, processing, safety, communications and the day-to-day needs of the business.
n
n
With five direct reports, the key responsibilities of this role include.
n
nSafety, Compliance & Risk: n
n
Ensure site Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) activities comply with PNG statutory requirements, Harmony policies, authorised systems, cyber security controls and audit requirements.
n
nSite IT/OT Operations: n
n
Lead day-to day support and operational management of site IT and OT services that enable mining, safety and communications.
n
n
Build strong working relationships with core teams responsible for infrastructure, networks, cyber security, enterprise applications, workplace technology, cloud, collaboration ad digital services.
n




nBusiness Engagement & Service Delivery: n
n
Act as the primary technology relationship lead for the operation, maintaining effective engagement with operational leaders and service providers.
n
n
Understand business priorities, production dependencies and emerging technology needs, and represent these through appropriate demand, planning and governance processes.
n
nService Management, Change and Governance: n
n
Apply agreed IT service management practices for incident, request, problem, change, knowledge, asset, configuration and service level management.
n
n
Ensure Service Desk work is managed within agreed KPIs and that reoccurring issues are raised for problem management and root-cause action.
n
nLeadership, Capability & Resources: n
n
Manage, coach and develop the site ICT team across IT, OT, service management, cyber security and business engagement capabilities.
n
nQualifications and Experience: n
n
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
n
n
Demonstrated experience leading site-based IT operations in a complex, safety-critical or industrial environment.
n
n
Experience working in a federated or shared-service operating model with enterprise platform and service teams.
n
n




Strong knowledge of IT service management practices, service levels, incident and problem management, change control, asset and configuration management.
n
n
Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, planning, budgeting and reporting capability.
n
n
Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, networking, identity and access, end-user computing, communications, backup, monitoring and cyber security controls.
n
n
Ability to operate effectively in a remote-site rostered environment and manage competing operational priorities.
