We are looking for a skilled, caring, reliable and positive NDIS Support Worker to join our team.
n
Your role will be to provide high-quality, person-centred support that enables participants to live with choice, independence, dignity and respect. You will become an important part of the participant's support network and will help them achieve their individual goals and enjoy greater participation in their community.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Providing person-centred support based on each participant's individual needs and goals
n
Supporting participants to develop and maintain independence
n
Assisting with community participation and social activities
n
Supporting daily living activities where required
n
Building positive and respectful relationships with participants and their families
n
Promoting participant choice, control and dignity
n
Maintaining professional boundaries at all times
n
Recognising and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns
n
Protecting participants from abuse, neglect, exploitation, discrimination and harm
n
Following participant support plans, risk assessments, policies and procedures
n
Completing accurate progress notes and required documentation.
n
Reporting incidents, hazards, concerns and changes in participant circumstances promptly.
n
Maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
n
Working collaboratively with families, support coordinators, allied health professionals and other members of the participant's support network.
n
Representing the organisation professionally within the community.
n

NDIS Worker Clearance or willing to obtain
n
First Aid Certificate or are willing to obtain
n
Current Australian Driver's License
n
Experience in the NDIS and/or SIL environment
n
Flexability to work
Sleepovers/Days/Weekends.
We are a 24 hour service, 7 days a week
