The chance n
As the Team Leader Sport Facilities & Activation, you'll play akey role in helping the Hobsons Bay community access highquality sport and recreation facilities, programs and services.Leading a small team, you'll oversee facility management, clubpartnerships, policy implementation and community
activationinitiatives
that encourage participation in sport andrecreation while supporting positive community outcomes.
What you'll be doing n
n
Leadand manage the Sport & Recreation team,
includingsupervision
of two officers
n
Oversee the allocation, booking, permitting and utilisation of sport and recreation facilities
n
Managesport and recreation tenancy agreements and
stakeholderrelationships
n
Negotiate and resolve sporting club and communityfacility matters in line with Council objectives
n
Implement policies, programs and continuous
improvementinitiatives
that increase participation in sport and recreation
n
What you'll need to succeed n
n
Tertiary qualification in Recreation, Management or arelated field, or equivalent industry experience
n
Strongknowledge of sport and recreation industry trends andcommunity sporting club operations
n




Demonstrated leadership experience managing anddeveloping staff
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation andrelationship management skills
n
Stronganalytical, problem solving, report writing andcommunication skills
n
n
