Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic n
Integrated Trade Services is a Brisbane-based mechanical services and electrical contractor working across Brisbane, Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast. We install, commission, service and maintain commercial HVAC: VRV and VRF systems, packaged and ducted plant, mechanical ventilation, cold rooms and split systems, for builders, national retail and hospitality brands, schools, government departments and body corporates.

Our mechanical workload is growing rapid and we are building the internal team to deliver it. The bulk of the work is commercial plant, alongside residential and service work for established clients. This role suits a mechanic who wants proper drawings and commissioning, variety through the week, and a business that invests in its people.

Our Work Includes
n
Daikin VRV and VRF installations, commissioning and service
n
Ducted, packaged and rooftop plant for retail, hospitality and childcare fit-outs
n
Mechanical ventilation including kitchen exhaust, car park and smoke spill systems
n
Cold rooms and freezer rooms for QSR and hospitality clients
n
Split system installation, service, chemical cleans and repairs
n
Planned maintenance and breakdown service for commercial and body corporate clients
n
Residential ducted and split system work for established clients and referrals
n
The Position
n
Full-time, permanent. Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm. Some after-hours and weekend work on commercial fit-outs, paid at the applicable rate. Reporting directly to the Director. Vehicle goes home with you, so there is no daily depot run.

What You'll Be Doing
n
Installing, commissioning, servicing and repairing commercial air conditioning and refrigeration plant
n
Working from mechanical drawings, schedules and specifications on fit-out and construction sites
n
Pipework, brazing, pressure testing,



evacuation and charging to manufacturer requirements
n
Setting to work and commissioning VRV and VRF systems, packaged units and ventilation systems
n
Fault-finding and repairing refrigeration, controls and electrical faults on commercial plant
n
Completing refrigerant handling records, commissioning sheets and compliance documentation
n
Attending service calls for commercial, body corporate and property management clients
n
Keeping accurate job notes, photos and timesheets in our job management system
n
What We Offer

$50 to $62 per hour plus super, based on experience
n
Weekly pay, not fortnightly or monthly

Fully maintained company vehicle, fuel card, tools, gauges, uniform and phone

Genuine commercial project work: VRV, packaged plant, ventilation and cold rooms

Ongoing training and tickets paid for, including manufacturer training with Daikin
n
A clear pathway to leading hand, service supervisor or project management as the mechanical division grows

Direct access to the owner. Decisions get made the same day, not up a chain of command

What We're Looking For
n
Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent recognised trade qualification
n
Commercial HVAC experience in installation, service or both
n
Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings and equipment schedules
n
White card
n
Queensland Electrical Work Licence or restricted electrical licence
n
Daikin VRV and VRF commissioning experience
n
Experience with BMS and controls, kitchen exhaust or smoke spill systems
n
Cold room installation and service experience
n
EWP, working at heights or confined space tickets
n
Experience on builder-run commercial fit-out sites
n
