About the role n
n
Providing clients with legal advice on indemnity, liability, quantum and third-party contribution
n
Regularly reviewing applicable case law and legislative changes
n
Conducting effective legal research and analysis to produce timely, commercial and legally accurate advice
n
Attending settlement conferences and mediations
n
Instructing counsel at court applications and trials
n
Managing a robust workload,



including prioritising work and delivering services effectively
n
Effective communication with stakeholders to achieve valued customer experience outcomes
n
Developing an understanding of client operations and strategy
n
Managing prospective client relationships
n
About you n
n
1-4 years' PQE
n
Law degree and admission to practice in Queensland
n
Previous experience in managing workers' compensation common law claims is highly desirable
n
Excellent work ethic and problem-solving skills
n
Strong attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
n
A natural ability to build strong client relationships
n
Emerging ability to manage client expectations and run matters autonomously
n
Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team
n
Commercial acumen
n
A solid, plain language communication style
n
