An exciting prospect is available for an experienced
Senior AI, Copilot & Automation Engineer
to join a large, complex organisation undergoing significant digital transformation.
n
This is a hands-on technical role focused on designing, building and deploying
secure, enterprise-grade AI and automation solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem
. You will take business opportunities from discovery and proof of concept through controlled pilots and into sustainable production solutions.

It is a 6 months contract role with possible extensions.

. You will take business opportunities from discovery and proof of concept through controlled pilots and into sustainable production solutions.

You will be responsible for: n
n
Designing, developing and deploying enterprise AI, Copilot and agentic solutions using
Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI services
.
n
Building AI agents using organisational knowledge, workflows and APIs, with appropriate controls, escalation pathways and human oversight.
n
Designing AI-ready data solutions using
Microsoft Fabric
,



including OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, semantic models and Power BI.
n
Developing automated business processes using
Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse and AI Builder
.
n
Integrating AI and automation solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams and other enterprise platforms through APIs and connectors.
n
Partnering with stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities and develop proofs of concept and controlled pilots.
n
About You n
n
You will bring strong hands-on experience delivering enterprise AI, software, data or automation solutions, ideally within a complex or highly governed environment.
n
Azure OpenAI and Microsoft Foundry, or comparable generative AI platforms.
n
Microsoft Copilot Studio and enterprise agent development.
n
Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, data ingestion,
Lakehouse/Warehouse
patterns and Power BI.
n
Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Dataverse.
n
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), grounding, prompt/instruction design and agent orchestration.
n
Microsoft Entra ID, role-based access, cloud security, logging and monitoring.
n
Responsible AI, privacy, cybersecurity and data governance.
n
Moving AI solutions beyond prototypes and into secure, supportable production environments.
n
Experience with
Microsoft Purview, Azure AI Search, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, API Management, Azure Functions or Logic Apps
will be highly regarded.
