are currently seeking an experienced
Network Administrator
for a 2 yearcontract with a Local Council in Western Sydney.
n
About the Role:
n
Focus will be working with external network partners to remediate issues across the organisation's Layer 3 network environment, as well as playing a key role in the upcoming SD-WAN rollout across multiple sites through *******.
n
The successful candidate will need strong experience across multi-site network deployments, network configuration, change management and core network infrastructure.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Manage and support network infrastructure across multiple sites.
n
Work with network partners to remediate existing Layer 3 network issues.
n
Contribute to the planning and delivery of the organisation's SD-WAN rollout.
n
Perform network upgrades, configuration changes and other infrastructure activities.
n
Manage and coordinate network infrastructure projects as required.
n
Install, upgrade and troubleshoot corporate applications, working closely with application owners and vendors.
n
Administer and optimise SQL databases.




n
Work with the IT Manager to plan and schedule application upgrades and maintenance.
n
Monitor the Service Desk and provide proactive Level 2 technical support.
n
Escalate complex issues where required and ensure timely resolution.
n
Contribute to the ongoing stability, security and performance of the organisation's IT setting.
n
n
Do you have:
n
n
Relevant degree, diploma or equivalent practical experience.
n
Strong experience as a
Network Administrator
in a complex IT environment.
n
Experience supporting
multi-site network infrastructure and deployments
.
n
Strong understanding of networking, network protocols and core configurations.
n
Experience with
SD-WAN implementations or similar network transformation projects
.
n
Experience with
VMware, Office 365 and Azure
.
n
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
n
n
