Salary Range: $79,499 to $90,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation

Position Summary:
The Production Manager (Manufacturing) is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all food production activities. The role ensures effective operations, consistent product quality, compliance with food safety standards and effective team management.

Duties and Responsibilities
•Plan, organize, control production schedules to meet demand
•Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards
•Supervise and manage production staff, including rostering and performance
•Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with food safety standard (HACCP)
•Manage raw materials, inventory levels, and supplier coordination.
•Analyse production performance and implement process improvements.
•Control production costs and minimize waste




•Ensure maintenance of equipment and safe work practices (WHS)
•Liaise with management, suppliers and internal teams.

oCoordinate daily manufacturing activities and optimise workflow
oEnsure efficient use of labour, materials and equipment

•Quality & Compliance

oMaintain food safety and quality assurance standards
oEnsure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements

•Staff Management

oLead, train, and supervise production staff
oFoster a safe and productive work environment.

•Cost & Efficiency

oMonitor production costs and improve operation efficiency
oReduce water and enhance productivity

•Inventory & Supply

oManage stock levels and raw materials supply
oCoordinate with supplier for timely delivery

Skills/Experience/Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree or higher in Manufacturing, Engineering, Food Technology, Business or related field.

Experience
•Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
•Experience in food production is highly desirable.

Skills
•Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and production planning
•Understanding of food safety standard (HACCP)
•Leadership and team management capability
•Problem-solving and organization skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production systems.
