Key Responsibilities
Completescheduledservicing,logbookmaintenanceandmechanicalrepairs
Diagnosevehiclefaultsusingmodernscantoolsanddiagnosticequipment
Carryoutmechanicalinspectionsandidentifyfaultsaccurately
Repairandmaintainavarietyofvehiclemakesandmodels
Followmanufacturerservicingandrepairrequirements
Recordcompletedworkclearlyandaccurately
Explainidentifiedvehicleissuesandcompletedrepairstocustomerswhenrequired
Maintainhighstandardsofworkmanship,efficiencyandworkshopsafety
Workeffectivelywithothertechniciansandworkshopstaff
Useworkshoptools,equipmentanddiagnosticsystemsresponsibly
Requirements & Eligibility
TradequalificationinLightVehicleMechanicalTechnologyoranequivalentrecognisedqualification
Minimum3yearsofpost-apprenticeshipautomotiveexperience




Demonstratedhands-onexperienceacrossdifferentvehiclemakesandmodels
Strongmechanicaldiagnosisandfault-findingability
Practicalexperiencewithmodernautomotivescananddiagnostictools
Abilitytoprovidegenuineevidenceofqualificationsandemploymenthistory
