Kilmore Medical Practice is an eleven-consultation room medical practice that has been providing care for its community since ****. The medical clinic provides general practice, osteopathy, psychology, audiology, and dietitian services to the Kilmore and surrounding community. We are seeking a psychologist to join our team on a contract basis to provide psychological services to our patients.
Position Summary n

Position type: Independent contractor / sessional.
n
Patient intake avenues: The practitioner will receive a constant stream of referrals from our 5 working GPs. The services will be advertised on the clinic's physical outdoor sign and the clinic's website.
n
Hours/Sessions: Patients will be booked on a weekly basis between Monday and Saturday (per psychologist availability). With progression, the psychologist can increase their number of workdays as per their availability.
n
Billing Rate: The clinic is currently bulk billing psychology services; however, private fees may be charged at the discretion of the practitioner.

Key Responsibilities n

Scheduling.
n
Inputting and sending referrals.
n




Faxing reports.
n
Providing psychological care.
n
Liaising with referring GPs, providing reports/updates, etc.
n
Essential Qualifications & Requirements n
n
Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
n
Own qualified indemnity insurance.
n
Current Working with Children Check / Police Check.
n
Relevant contractor's insurance / ABN for invoicing.
n
CPD compliant with AHPRA/Board requirements.
n
Contract Terms n
n
Engagement basis: Independent contractor agreement (not employment) - contractor invoices the practice/bills patients directly per arrangement.
n
Fee structure: 60% of psychology billing.
n
Room/facilities provided: Consulting room, reception/admin support.
n

Kilmore Medical Practice aims to establish a solid foundation for providing psychological care.
n
As the practitioner establishes their reputation in the region, they can adjust their work schedule as per demand and their availability.
