We are seeking an experienced Paralegal on a full-time basis to join our team in Brisbane. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone with solid paralegal experience who enjoys client contact, practical legal work and supporting matters from intake through to completion.

Experience in commercial and business law is preferred.
The Role n
As a Paralegal, you will play an important role in supporting lawyers and senior team members with the day‐to‐day conduct and progression of matters across a busy multi‐specialty law firm.
n
The role requires professionalism, strong organisation, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
n
Your key responsibilities will include:
n

Providing paralegal and administrative support to lawyers and senior team members
n
Managing correspondence and client communications
n
Assisting with enquiries and client intake
n
Drafting legal documents, briefs and correspondence
n
Filing court and other legal documents
n
Conducting legal research
n
Maintaining organised physical and electronic files
n
Monitoring deadlines, appointments and key dates
n
Assisting with the progression of matters from commencement through to completion
n
Liaising with clients, solicitors, barristers, courts, government departments and other third parties as required
n
The Person n
The ideal candidate will be an experienced,



reliable and proactive paralegal who takes pride in producing high‐quality work and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
n
You will be organised, comfortable communicating with clients and other professionals, able to follow instructions carefully, and capable of managing multiple matters and competing deadlines.
n
You will bring:
n
n
3–5 years' experience working as a paralegal
n
Previous experience in commercial and/or business law preferred
n
Robust legal drafting and written communication skills
n
Excellent communication and client service skills
n
Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
n
The ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively in a busy legal environment
n
Confidence using technology, including AI proficiency, and the ability to learn and use legal software and systems
n
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
n
A proactive approach and willingness to take initiative
n
The ability to receive and implement feedback
n
A commitment to high‐quality work, professional development and team success
n
Experience across other areas of law, including litigation, conveyancing, family law or personal injury, will also be well regarded.
