We are looking for a Junior Software Developer who is enthusiastic about what they do, who wishes to grow their career and is eager to take on recent challenges, with a learning mindset.

nAbout the role: n
n
As a Junior Software Developer, you will work closely with our Software Development Team to support the development, testing and ongoing improvement of software solutions for our customers. This is an opportunity to build your technical capability in a practical environment, working with experienced developers while gaining exposure to real-world software projects, customer requirements and a range of development technologies.
n
n
This role won't be suited to you if you do not enjoy collaborating with other team members, you are uncomfortable receiving feedback, asking questions or learning from more experienced team members, you are not willing to work across different technologies or adapt as project and customer requirements change, and you are looking for a role where you will only work on large or complex development projects from day one.
n
nYou will be involved in: n
n
Developing and maintaining features, integrations and bug fixes
n
n
Understanding customer requirements and investigating software issues
n
n
Writing tests and checking changes meet agreed requirements
n
n
Submitting code for review, explaining changes and applying feedback
n
n
Using approved AI development tools responsibly and verifying generated changes
n
n
Maintaining documentation and supporting releases with guidance from the team
n
n
Communicating progress and blockers, and following security and client confidentiality practices
n
nTo thrive in this role, you will need to have: n
n
Practical software development experience through employment,



internships or substantial projects
n
n
Familiarity with TypeScript/React or C#/.NET, and willingness to learn across our stack
n
n
Basic knowledge of SQL, relational databases, web applications, APIs and Git
n
n
Ability to read existing code, investigate problems and explain changes
n
n
Understanding of testing principles and an interest in automated testing
n
n
Willingness to learn approved AI development practices and critically check the results
n
n
Exposure to Azure or AWS is desirable, but not essential
n
