About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Finance Administrator / Bookkeeper to support our Company Accountant and assist with the day-to-day financial and commercial administration of our business. Operating within a manufacturing business with both Australian and global operations, this is a diverse, hands-on position involving bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial data entry, foreign currency transactions and commercial customer administration. The role also acts as an important link between finance, operations and our commercial customers, assisting with customer orders and coordinating delivery requirements.
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised
Finance Administrator / Bookkeeper
to support our Company Accountant and assist with the day-to-day financial and commercial administration of our business.
Operating within a
manufacturing business with both Australian and global operations
, this is a varied, hands-on position involving bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial data entry, foreign currency transactions and commercial customer administration.
The role also acts as an important link between finance, operations and our commercial customers,



assisting with customer orders and coordinating delivery requirements.
Exceptional attention to detail is essential. We are looking for someone who is methodical, highly accurate and takes ownership of ensuring financial and administrative information is correct.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day bookkeeping and finance administration support to the Company Accountant.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Accurately enter invoices, payments, receipts and other financial transactions.
Complete bank, credit card and account reconciliations.
Reconcile supplier and customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Process and allocate customer payments.
Prepare and issue customer invoices, statements and credit notes.
Assist with supplier payment preparation.
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
Assist with month-end processes and preparation of financial information.
Assist the Company Accountant with reporting and other finance-related activities as required.
Processing and recording transactions in multiple currencies.
Assisting with foreign currency payments and receipts.
Accurately recording exchange rates and foreign exchange transactions.
Reconciling international supplier and customer accounts.
Assisting with documentation associated with international transactions.
Working closely with the Company Accountant to ensure foreign currency transactions are accurately recorded.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in bookkeeping, finance administration, accounts administration or a similar role.




Strong bookkeeping and reconciliation experience.
Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience.
Excellent numerical and data-entry skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to identify and investigate discrepancies.
Confidence communicating with commercial customers and suppliers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously while supporting a broader finance and operational team.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Highly Regarded:
Experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
Experience within a manufacturing, wholesale, distribution or product-based business.
Experience with foreign currency and international transactions.
Experience working with ERP, inventory or order-management systems.
Experience coordinating commercial customer orders and deliveries.
Understanding of GST, BAS and Australian bookkeeping requirements.
