Registered Nurse – Perioperative and Scrub Scout n
We are seeking experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to join our
Perioperative
team in a dedicated
Scrub/Scout
role. Work in a supportive team environment and provide our patients with specialised and dedicated care.

Urogynaecology
n
Plastic Surgery
n
Breast Surgery
n
Robotic Surgery
n
IVF and fertility procedures
n
n
As a Scrub/Scout Nurse, you will play an integral role in the safe and efficient delivery of high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative journey. You will work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and the wider theatre team to ensure every procedure runs smoothly.
The role includes: n
n
Providing protected, high-quality perioperative nursing care
n
Working as both a
Scrub/Scout Nurse
across a variety of procedures
n
Preparing and maintaining the operating theatre, equipment and instrumentation
n
Maintaining strict aseptic technique and infection‐control standards
n
Anticipating the needs of the surgical team
n
Participating in surgical counts and maintaining accurate documentation
n
Contributing to a positive, respectful and team‐focused theatre environment
n
About You: n
You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:
n
n
Minimum
2 years'
perioperative experience as a
Scrub/Scout nurse
n
Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
n
Registered with AHPRA
n
Experienced in a perioperative environment
n
Confident working in the scrub/scout role
n
Well organised, adaptable and able to work effectively under pressure
n




Committed to patient safety and high standards of clinical care
n
A strong communicator and team player
n
Enthusiastic about developing and expanding their perioperative skills
n
n
Experience across our specialties is highly regarded, although we welcome applications from nurses with robust perioperative experience who are keen to broaden their skills.
