n "KS Cheema Pty Ltd, atf Cheema Family Trust t/as Goodyear Autocare Gladstone & Rockhampton" is looking for a fully qualified and experienced motor mechanic to join our team at 36 Tank Street, Gladstone, QLD **** and 258 Musgrave Street Rockhampton ****.

This is a Permanent Full-Time position for the right candidate with the required qualifications and experience.
n
The salary package offered is $80,000 - $85,000 depending on the level of experience in the field.
n
The prospective employee must have at least 1+ years of experience in light vehicle repair and maintenance along with related Australian qualifications.
Responsibilities n
n
Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
n
Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles.
n
Diagnose and repair the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle, such as the engine, transmission and the suspension systems
n




Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians
n
Maintaining a safe working setting through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialized equipment.
n
Demonstrate behaviors that align with company policies and organizational values.
n
Contribute to building a positive team spirit.

Requirements n
n
Australian Trade qualification as a motor mechanic, minimum Certificate IV in Automotive Repair is required.
n
Minimum 1+ years' experience
n
Must hold a current driver's license with the ability to drive manual and automatic.
n
Excellent problem-solving skills with quality workmanship and an eye for detail
n
Previous dealership experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
n
A roadworthy ticket is desirable.
n
Must be able to work as part of a team and independently without supervision.
